UL flying sports navigation seminar, Havlíčkův Brod airport
Start of competitive navigation flying on May 2nd in Havlíčkův Brod
On Saturday, May 2, at 5:9 a.m., the introductory sports navigation flying seminar will begin.
The morning part will be devoted to theoretical preparation and will be divided into two levels - beginners and advanced. Beginners will learn the important basics to be able to fly around the competition track safely and calmly on board. The advanced ones will deal with more demanding matters for better competitive performances, issues of construction and economic tasks, and can also expect "how to" tips and tricks from experienced representatives. This advanced course is suitable especially, but not only, for those interested in participating in the MČR.
In the afternoon, it will be possible to fly one of the practice competition courses, discuss with colleagues from the national team, or try to meet the conditions for obtaining the Colibri badge. Refreshments will be prepared for members of the UL Association throughout the event and 20 liters of gasoline for the plane. Arrivals are possible from Friday afternoon. Please arrange accommodation through the LKHB reception, tel.: +420 603 790 245. Accommodation capacity is limited, so do not delay your reservation too much.
On Sunday, May 3, the seminar will be followed by the 5st round of the Petr Tuček Navigation Cup.
You can look forward to using your newly acquired knowledge or simply refreshing your skills from previous seasons. Two competition routes will be prepared - simple for the recreational class and more challenging (more fun) for the sports class. A member of the UL Association who flies more than half of the competition route will traditionally receive 20 liters of gasoline on the plane. Refreshments will also be provided throughout the day. The entry fee is 250 CZK per person. The briefing will start at 9:30 a.m. In case of inclement weather, the alternative date for the competition is Friday, May 8.5th or the following Saturday, May 9.5th or Sunday, May 10.5th. In the event of a postponement, the date will be specified.
Interest in the past morning start please write in the notes in the application form. Morning starts will take place from 08:00, assignment distribution from 07:00, this will be preceded by a briefing at approximately 6:45.
For both events, it is necessary to register in time on the competition website ppt.laacr.cz!
Registration at seminar please do it no later than Wednesday 29.04. and registration on competition until 13 pm on Saturday 2.5.
