🪂 Raná celebrates 40 years of paragliding! Come to the Czech-German anniversary meeting of pilots and friends of flying on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

⛪ In the morning, opening of the Museum of Flight and tour of the church.
🚌 For registered interested parties, program in Louny: free bus, shared lunch and a commented exhibition about the Bohemian Central Mountains and flying. Reservations until 10. 9. 2026 at info@pgkr.cz.

🌤️ In the afternoon, demonstration flights, a service for the pilots and musical accompaniment by the band Fénix.
🎶 From 17:00 PM, a social evening at the museum: live music, refreshments, films, photographs, tours and memories of Czech-German flying before 1989.

🎯 A landing accuracy competition will take place simultaneously from September 18th to 20th.

🪂 Der Ranneyer Berg celebrates 40 years of Gleitschirmfliegen! Kommt am Samstag, dem 19. September 2026, zum deutsch-tschechischen Jubiläumstreffen von Piloten und Flugfreunden.

⛪ Am Vormittag: Eröffnung des Flugmuseums und Besichtigung der Kirche.
🚌 For registered participants, there is a program in Louny with a free bus ride, a shared lunch and a guided tour through the exhibition over the Bohemian Middle Mountains and air travel. Anmeldung until 10 September 2026 under info@pgkr.cz.

🌤️ In the afternoon: Vorführflüge, Gedenkgottesdienst und Musik der Band Fénix.
🎶 From 17:00 Uhr gezelieniger Abend im Flugmuseum mit Livemusik, Speisen und Getränken, Filmen, Fotografien, Führungen und Erinnerungen an die deutsch-tschechischen Flugkontakte vor 1989.

🎯 Parallel findet vom 18. bis 20. September ein Wettbewerb im Präzisionslanden statt.

Mass movement from Louny to Raná to the chapel of St. Joseph of Koper
(in case of inclement weather, transfer to the church in Raná)

Demonstration flights at Raná

  • demonstration flights of powered and non-powered parachutes and hang gliders in the area between Rana and the chapel of St. Joseph Kopertinský
    (cancelled in case of bad weather)

 

15:00 – 16:30

Service for pilots who died while flying

  • Mass is served by the RD Mgr. Radim Vondrácek
  • accompanied by a music band

Moving from the chapel to the Museum of Flight at Raná

Social evening at the Museum of Flight in Raná

  • refreshments in the main hall + possibility of grilling on the fireplace in the yard
  • live Czech-German band (2x 45min music blocks)
  • screening of a documentary about Czech-German relations during flying at Raná, about the Museum of Flying, and other historical photographs and films
  • presentation of the German partner association Xtrudis e. V.
  • Michal Hejcman – singing professor
  • memories of the beginnings of paragliding, hang gliding and Czech-German contacts before 1989

  • From 10:00 to 14:00, a guide will be available to take visitors through the Museum of Flight exhibition.
