About the program

The Talented Youth Program of the Motor Paragliding Association

The goal of the program is to prepare young pilots for top competitions and increase flying safety. As part of the program, young pilots learn to fly safely and a new generation of sports pilots is trained from the best. The program provides and helps finance training camps and guidance for young pilots at the beginning of their racing career.

The Talent MPG program is intended for pilots who do not exceed the age of 25 in the current calendar year. (in 2025, that's pilots born in 2000 and later).

Sorting into teams:

  • team A – junior national team with individual support
  • team B – independently active pilots
  • team C – novice pilots after the course (or in the course), beginners and less experienced pilots, recreational pilots.

Motivation

A separate category will be created for pilots on the website (xcontest.org) - the aviation calendar of the Czech Republic, where they compete among themselves in individual disciplines, the highest number of flights per year, the longest distance flown, the longest FAI triangle and the like. At the same time, supporting competitiveness improves skills and motivates pilots to achieve better results in top competitions in a fun way.

Access to sports equipment

Motor paragliding is a financially demanding sport, and since the participants in the program are mostly students, the equipment will be loaned to the pilots for the given camp.

There are currently 2025 pilots in the program for 5, members are in category B and C.

Training camps are organized by the best Czech pilots and representatives in all disciplines.
