1. General principles
Every member and employee of LAA CR undertakes to comply with this Code of Ethics.
They also undertake to refrain from any actions leading to damage to the unity, name and position of the LAA CR as a sports organization.
Overlooking a violation of the Code of Ethics is as serious as violating the Code itself. Anyone who witnesses or suspects a violation of the Code of Ethics has a duty to report the case to Safeguard LAA CR and, if requested, to cooperate in clarifying such conduct.
If they do not report the case, they become complicit in such conduct. The report can be made anonymously and each report must be investigated by the LAA CR Safeguard. A serious violation of the LAA CR Code of Ethics will be considered a serious violation of the LAA CR Statutes.
2. Protection of physical and psychological safety
Every member and employee of LAA ČR is committed to helping create and maintain a safe, equal and fair environment, which includes compliance with all applicable safety rules and regulations for the operation of a specific sport, zero tolerance for hate speech, sexual coercion and physical or psychological abuse of anyone participating in sports or other activities related to sports associated with the LAA ČR organization.
Physical abuse can include, for example, corporal punishment, unreasonable or excessive strain, or any other form of violence, including sexual violence.
Psychological abuse manifests itself, for example, through disrespectful communication, verbal attacks, false accusations, slander, humiliation, intimidation, manipulation, disadvantage or coercion.
All members and employees of the LAA CR who are in direct contact with minors, such as instructors, coaches and inspectors, are required to submit to the LAA CR an extract from the criminal record with the so-called Children's Certificate (mandatory by law from 1.1. 2027)
3. Protection of athletes with disabilities
Organizers, instructors, coaches and others involved in sports processes for athletes with physical or mental disabilities undertake to contribute, where possible, to the creation of suitable conditions for practicing sports by ensuring accessible equipment, adequate care and safety measures with regard to the specific requirements of these athletes.
4. Equal opportunities in sports
Members and employees of LAA ČR reject any form of inequality, discrimination or bullying based on age, race, skin color, ethnic origin, nationality, religion, cultural background, gender identity, sexual orientation or other characteristics, whether in sport or in the leadership and functions of LAA ČR. They commit to strive for a balanced representation of women and men at all levels, where the qualifications and added value of individuals are decisive factors for filling positions.
5. Fight against corruption and doping
Every athlete, instructor, coach, employee or other participant in the sports environment of the LAA ČR undertakes to act honestly, according to the rules and to reject unethical practices leading to attempts to influence the results of sports competitions or obtain advantages.
Every athlete-representative, instructor, coach and other members of the LAA ČR involved in sports aviation competitions undertake to comply with anti-doping rules according to the Directive for the Control and Sanction of Doping in Sport in the Czech Republic. ( https://www.fai.org/anti-doping )

6. Education and personal development
Members and employees of the LAA CR are committed to promoting and supporting constructive and open communication, calm and professional conflict resolution, and dealing with respect and dignity for all involved, as well as continuous and lifelong education of its members and employees at all levels and disciplines, including professional and personal growth, development of soft skills, and knowledge of ethical behavior in sport.
LAA ČR provides training that will enable you to recognize and adequately respond to negative phenomena in sports, including violence, sexual violence, bullying, discrimination, etc. This training is mandatory for all employees, officials, instructors and coaches of LAA ČR once a year.
7. LAA Safeguard
LAA Safeguard is a member of the LAA Czech Republic authorized by the LAA Czech Council to perform the following activities:
- Creation and implementation of a Code of Ethics, necessary procedures and measures to protect a safe sports environment
- Creation of a SG network of coordinators – 1 for each LAA association, assistance with the creation of the Code of Ethics, with the transfer of information between the SG and the association, assistance with any investigation
- Publishing and managing information on the LAA website, publishing the Code of Ethics, publishing contact information and other possible assistance
- Communication, training/webinars for athletes, instructors, coaches, inspectors and officials once a year
- Support for ensuring the delivery of extracts from the Criminal Record with the so-called Children's Certificate (mandatory from 2027)
- Complaints – creating a procedure, accepting a complaint, collecting data, assisting, evaluating, resolving, adjusting measures to prevent recurrence
- Monitoring – system effectiveness, annual data collection
- Helping athletes in difficult situations
- Annual report on activities to the National Safeguard of the National Sports Agency containing an overview of measures, a list of complaints and the results of their investigation, recommendations issued and an overview of completed and organized training focused on the prevention of negative phenomena in sports
