Executive council

The Council of the LAA ČR is the executive body that manages the LAA ČR in the period between Conferences. The Council of the LAA ČR has seven members and consists of the president of the LAA ČR and six members representing the unions elected by individual presidiums of the unions.

The powers of the LAA Council are defined in Title VII Statutes of the LAA CR

TITLE VII – Executive council

§ 21 Executive council

  1. The Council of the LAA ČR has seven members and consists of the president of the LAA ČR and six members representing the unions elected by individual presidiums of the unions.
  2. The Ultralight Flying Association is represented in the Council by two representatives, the Paragliding Association is represented by two representatives, the Hang Gliding Association is represented by one representative and the Motor Paragliding Association is represented by one representative.
  3. Membership in the LAA ČR Council is honorary, and members will be reimbursed for the costs associated with the performance of their duties.
  4. The Executive council meets at least four times a year.
  5. The meeting of the Council is convened by the President or a person who represents him based on the authorization of the Council of the LAA CR
  6. If the President does not call the meeting of the Council, the meeting can be called by 4 members of the Council.
  7. The Council is capable of quorum if a majority of the members of the Council are present and decisions are made by a majority of those present. When deciding on the remuneration of the President of the LAA CR, the President does not vote.

§ 22 Powers of the Executive council

  1. It decides, for the reasons arising from these statutes, on the convening of regular and extraordinary meetings of the Conference of the LAA CR, if they have not been convened by the President, or by a person representing the President based on the authority of the LAA Council.
  2. Drafts the budget and submits it to the LAA CR Conference for decision.
  3. Adopts the Organizational Rules of the LAA CR.
  4. Manages and controls the secretariat of the LAA CR.
  5. Discusses and resolves complaints of LAA CR members.
  6. Appoints the Editorial Board and determines the ideological content of the LAA CR media.
  7. It establishes expert commissions as advisory bodies of the Executive council and appoints their members.
  8. It can convene the General Meeting of the union, whose presidency does not carry out activities or acts contrary to the interests of LAA ČR.
  9. Decides on the expulsion of a member of the LAA CR.
  10. Decides on the remuneration of the President of the LAA CR
