The Pilot magazine is a magazine about flying ultralight aircraft and gliders, autogyrocraft, helicopters, paramotors, hang gliders and paragliders.
The magazine originated from the LAA Czech Republic Information Bulletin more than thirty years ago. It still includes a 4-12 page bulletin, which serves to disseminate important and binding information from the LAA Administration to its members.
It currently takes the form of a color magazine on high-quality paper in the format 200 x 290 mm (i.e. slightly smaller than A4) with V2 binding.
In Pilot you will find 48 to 56 color pages of interesting facts and reports focused on all specialties associated with the LAA CR (ultralight flying, paragliding, hang gliding, paramotors and ultralight balloons).
Thanks to professional articles, the magazine plays a significant role in the education and information of pilots and fans of flying.
The magazine is distributed free of charge to LAA members, and non-commercial advertising is also free to members.
For companies using surface advertising, the magazine offers the certainty of reaching the target group of pilots and fans of various forms of flying at very reasonable prices. The magazine is distributed to everyone to members of the Amateur Aviation Association directly to their addresses, and the most important state administration bodies and important business entities are also sent. The magazine's circulation ranges between 7000 and 7800 copies each month.
Quality, variety, narrow specialization and a large number of readers - these are the greatest strengths of Pilot magazine.
(If two LAA members share a household with the same mailing address in the register and only need one copy of the magazine, the solution is simple: send an e-mail to pilot@laacr.cz, list the address and the names of the members who share it, and specify which of them the Pilot magazine should continue to be addressed to).
