Selection procedure for the position of XC Teamleader

The Board of the Union PG announces as of 6.10.2025

Selection procedure for the position of team leader (TL) of the PG cross country flying team.

Requirements:

  • good organizational skills
  • knowledge of AJ
  • active approach to leading the assigned team
  • expertise in the paragliding industry and FAI Rules Section 7

The application to the VŘ must contain a CV and a section where the candidate freely specifies his idea of ​​the work of a team leader and the priorities of his activity.

The basic activities of a team leader are embedded in The organizational rules of the Union PG Article 2.4

Basic tasks of the team leader:

  1. The team leader submits a draft budget for the representation's participation in the WC/ME to the Association's Presidency
  2. The team leader submits to the Sports Commission a proposal for the nomination of the national team for competitions and a proposal for the inclusion of pilots in the national team and extended national team
  3. The team leader ensures the team's participation in ME/MS competitions and, unless otherwise specified, acts as team leader
  4. The team leader is responsible for accounting for the funds for the representation in the given term
  5. The team leader prepares investment and non-investment grants for the national team and presents them to the sports commission and the board
  6. The team leader keeps records of the entrusted property of the team members
  7. The team leader is authorized to negotiate with the sponsors of the national team (he is rewarded with a commission for obtaining sponsors)
  8. The team leader ensures the promotion and presentation of the results

 The remuneration of the team leader is determined by the Board according to the performance of the function and the current financial situation.

An oral interview will be held with those interested in the position of TL XC (online - time to be specified), on the basis of which the presidency and SK of the PG Association will decide on the winner of the selection procedure. 

The winner of the VŘ will be appointed to the post of TL for 3 years, or until further notice according to the organizational rules.
