From 9 to 19 October, Alanya, Turkey will host LA 13th World Championship in Precision Landing in Paragliding. As of today, 35 women and 135 men should be registered for the race. We will update the numbers after the actual registration of the pilots on site. 43 countries are participating in the race and we are mainly interested in the Czech team. In it we will find: Vlastimila Kricnara, Vlastimila Vachtland, Petr Garbier, Lucka Martínková and Karolína Koudelova – Vlastík 15, Krici 52, Lucka 81, Garbos 107, Kája 128. The team will be assisted on site by Jirka Novák.
All our pilots will compete in the OPEN category, Lucka and Karolína in the WOMEN and JUNIORS categories. The team competition is traditionally essential for the Czech Republic! We will bring you details both during the race and in the streams that you can expect on the Czech Paragliding Association's YouTube from the start of the race.
The race in Alanya, where pilots land from a take-off above the city to land on the beach, will hopefully bring beautiful footage and interesting moments from this historically successful sport for the Czech Republic.
The principle of elimination rounds:
- All registered participants fly 6 rounds (after the 5th round, the worst result is discarded)
- Advances to the final rounds:
- Top 60 pilots Overall
- at least 6 women (unlimited number of women who made it to 60 in Overall)
- at least 6 juniors (unlimited number of juniors who made it to 60 in Overall)
- at least 6 seniors (unlimited number of seniors who reached 60 in Overall)
- The first 6 national teams, the competition ends for the remaining teams. All 6 teams continue until LA 12th round and in each of these 6 best teams the full number of team pilots flies. If these pilots did not make it to 60 in the individual competition or 40 in the second elimination, they do not compete in the individual competition and their flight is counted only in the team competition.
- Rounds 7 and 8 follow, after the end of round 8, another 20 pilots will be eliminated in Overall - so 40 + at least 6 in each other category continue to rounds 9 and 10.
- The 9th and 10th rounds follow, after the end of LA 10th round, another 20 pilots in Overall will be eliminated – so 20 + min. 6 in each other category continue to LA 11th and 12th rounds. The competition ends in LA 12th round

ACC World Championships Alanya 2025The World Precision Landing Championship in Turkey is slowly approaching! The competition starts on October 9th, but the representatives are already leaving today (VOwned by Kricnar , Vlastimil Vachtl, Petr Garbier, Lucie Martínková and Karolína Koudelová) and with them, without baggage, also Jirka Novák, who will try his hand at the job of a half-Team leader because he will be available as a right hand to all our pilots on the landing area.
However, Jirka has a special role, he will also bring us records of our guys' flights, photos and will try to connect with them online in an improvised live stream studio. In the meantime, we are fine-tuning the format for you, so that the streams are interesting, a little educational and maybe even inspiring for someone.
We are keeping our fingers crossed for our fighters, we will bring you detailed information and, if a video is released on the spot, we will also try to stream with interesting ACC personalities.
ACC World Championship Alanya 2025#2The tough competition days of the ACC World Championships are slowly approaching us, but really slowly and so far it looks like a Turkish biathlon - a combination of table tennis with landing precision.
Yesterday, the pilots each flew about 5 training flights, which was quite necessary - the terrain is very different from the racing terrains that our team has been through this year, plus the sea and the beach. They are trying to practice landing as accurately as possible and wanted to continue this training today, but unfortunately - paragliding - the weather turned bad!
It started to rain and before it even started, our team assumed they would have time to train in the morning, but the bridge was a mistake – the organizer was ripe for such tricks! He put an insurmountable barrier at the start.
And then it started to rain heavily and part of the Czech team swapped their wings for ping-pong bats and had a tournament.
Tomorrow will still be ugly, Thursday doesn't look pretty either, and then we'll definitely let you know how the first race day goes.

ACC World Championship Alanya 2025#3The ACC 2025 World Championship officially starts today!
The pilots registered, went through a safety briefing, a draw for the order (the Czech team has the number 15) and the ceremonial opening of the entire race. Tomorrow the day will start with an official training round, when each of the pilots will try to fly to the target and then after 1 p.m. the first real round of this year's championship will begin. LA 15th competitor in the order (Vlastík) will fly as LA 13st from the Czech team. Vachtl), as soon as the first competitor from each country arrives, the others will set off (Vlasta Kricnar, Lucka Martínková, Petr Garbier and Kája Koudelová will fly for the Czech Republic after Vlastík).

ACC World Championship Alanya 2025#4Yesterday, after the official training round, the first round of the World Championships began. Our guys started 15th and Vlastík was the first to enter the race for the Czech Republic. Vachtl and he stepped 3 cm. There were several zeros and ones, Linus Schubert, the big European favorite of the race, stepped 3 cm like Vlastík and we were waiting for Krici.
Vlasta Kricnar stepped 1 cm from the center in his first round (1 cm or zero was ultimately stepped by 29 pilots in the first round), so Vlasta Kricnar is in shared 9th-29th place after the first round. Petr Garbier and Kája Koudelová then placed in shared 29th-47th place, both 2 cm off in LA 1st round. Lucka Martínková stepped 4 cm and is in 59th place.
In the women's category, we have Karolína Koudelova in 5th place and Lucka Martínková is now in 9th place. As juniors, the girls have a very difficult time, the juniors are an extremely strong category full of zeros and ones. It is led after LA 1st round by Yihun Yoo from Korea. The great XC junior and excellent ACC pilot Flavio Funiati is now in 3rd place, Kája Koudelova took the place in front of Linus Schubert, i.e. 9th, and Lucka Martínková is in 12th place.
The Czech team is in 5th place after the first round, behind China, Korea, Indonesia and Kosovo.
Today the start is being gradually postponed because the wind is blowing from the wrong direction in Alanya. The forecasts for the afternoon are then very different, so we will wait and see how the weather develops in Turkey and accordingly we will invite you to our live broadcast of the race in good time.
ACC World Championship Alanya 2025#5The World Championship in Turkey continues for another day. Yesterday we witnessed the arrival of LA 2nd and departure of LA 3rd round, when the Czech team came just outside the top 3 and will continue to fight today.
Our guys landed great and Karolína Koudelová's zero at the end of LA 2nd round certainly contributed to the results. Vlastík Vachtl then he added 2 cm, Krici zero, Lucka 3 cm, Petr Garbier 4 cm and Karolína finished with 2 cm.
After LA 3rd round, we have Vlasta Kricnara in shared 4th place and Karolína Koudelova in shared 11th place, who also now occupies second place in the women's category and 5th place in the juniors' category!

ACC World Championship Alanya 2025#6Sixth post, day 5 of the ACC World Championships in Alanya, Turkey, and our pilots have great interim results!
We connected online to the World Championship venue this morning and are live with TL support. Owned by Kricnar commented on the events of LA 6th round. Our pilots landed excellently, the points in this round were graduated, when the last of the Czechs was Kája Koudelová, who stepped on 0. It is necessary to highlight the team spirit of the Czech team, beautiful raids and the desire for further battles!
Many pilots across the spectrum did not make it through the last qualifying round and unfortunately missed out on the final rounds. Immediately after the end of LA 6th round and after the technical break, the first final round, i.e. round 7, started. There, LA 60 best pilots overall were nominated in the individual categories (among them all Czech pilots except for Lucka Martínková, who unfortunately did not make it into LA 60).
In individual categories, all members of the category ranked up to 60th place advance, but at least 6 representatives of the category, even if these six are above 60th place overall.
In the teams, only LA 6 best teams continue to the final rounds (including the Czech Republic in 3rd place after LA 6th round).
Tomorrow morning at 9:10 we will start streaming again on the Union PG's YT channel and bring you Kája Koudelova's flight in round 8, which she did not manage to reach today, and then live with commentary of the elimination rounds 9 and 10, to which the best 40 pilots will advance (the rule remains that everyone under 40 and at least 6, even over 40, will be in the categories).
There will be a lot to watch, because the Czech team is fighting for the box! Kája is fighting and everyone is fighting, including Lucka, who is flying for the team until the end! Come cheer!
