- Windsock distribution
As part of the support of individual flight terrains, windsocks were ordered and delivered, which will be distributed to administrators so that they can be used as soon as possible if necessary. Alternatively, they served as a backup for existing ones.
- Bookmark drawing
On June 15.6th, the first draw for SKY bookmarks will take place as part of the announced competition. A pilot who has registered for at least 6 flights on six different days this season will be randomly selected. The draw will be broadcast live on the YouTube or Facebook channel of the PG Association.
- Evaluation of offers for Education and Security
Offers from security event organizers were discussed. It was decided about the allocation of amounts from the allocated budget. The organizers will be informed about this by email.
- Proposal for cooperation with the ELSPEEDO school
Dalibor Carbol addressed the Board with a proposal regarding cooperation, whereby the money received by the LAA as a fee for issuing pilot licenses to PG training students would be partially redistributed back to the school in question. The Board members discussed this issue and, from the available information, found that in the case of the Elspeedo school, less than 25% of pilots who completed training at this school have become members of the PG Association in recent years. The fee paid is income of the LAA Administration (execution of state administration on the basis of the authorization of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic). These funds are not income of the PG Association and it is not even possible to request reciprocal payment from the LAA to the PG Association for these pilots.
LAA manages its funds based on a budget, which is approved by the LAA Czech Conference on the proposal of the LAA Czech Council. LAA Czech is an association and the funds that individual associations manage come primarily from membership fees (currently 300 CZK/member) and from NSA subsidies, which are, however, earmarked.
The Presidency does not agree with Dalibor Carbol's proposal and will inform him of this.
- The Presidency approved support for 2 new wind probesThese probes will be supported by the same amount as the others supported.
- The General Meeting will take place on November 15.11th in Brno.More information will be published before the event.
- Terrain support
- A new system for determining support was discussed, which could be used from 2026. Jirka H. and Jarda M. will develop a specific solution, which will be presented at the next meeting.
