Minutes from the Board Meeting of March 4.3.2025, XNUMX

Present: Jaromír Mašek, Lukáš Hadaš, Jan Doležal, Vit Šantrůček, Jiří Hanč, Linda Mišková, Kamil Konečný

The board approved Vlastimil Kricnar's proposal to return the contribution for the purchase of sports equipment to David Lišek (he never received the set due to his health condition) - half from the national team's own funds and half from the union's own funds.

  • Jirka Hanč informed the presidium about the budget of the XC+ACC+H&F representation and the proposal for the distribution of the subsidy from the NSA for the representation in 2025 in the amount of CZK 671.
  • The Presidency proposed the distribution of the subsidy from the NSA to support sports, which the LAA CR received on March 4, and the Paragliding Association, according to the decision of the LAA Council, received CZK 3; the amount may not be final.
    • The funds were distributed in such a way as to maintain continuity.
    • After determining funding priorities, we chose terrain support as the most important - a fixed amount was allocated to support stratovolcanoes at the beginning of the year, we increased support for the operation of weathersondes, and we are now including a program to support windsocks at stratovolcanoes.
    • Continuity of support for sports competitions was maintained.
    • The reserve parachute repacking support program has been changed to a paragliding safety education program. This program will serve as education at the local club level.
  • The Paragliding Association received an NSA subsidy for the Talented Youth program in the amount of CZK 200 for 961. We have so far received CZK 2025 from voluntary union contributions, this amount will be added to the Talented Youth program.
  • The Board of Directors received a request from Vít Vavroušek to support the newly established Špičák launch site. Support in the amount of CZK 33 was approved.
  • Linda Mišková informed other members about the possibility of organizing the General Meeting and the Announcement of the ČPP. Linda is in contact with a possible organizer, who will send an official offer in the near future.
  • An associated competition to the ČPP Cup was discussed, which would motivate pilots to register their flights more for this competition and thus become “active athletes” according to the subsidy program. The number of active athletes is an important indicator for obtaining an NSA subsidy. The competition will be further developed at the next meeting of the presidency.
