- Info from the board meeting
The Chairman of the Sports Commission (SK), Jiří Hanč, introduced the other members of the SK to the issues discussed at the meeting of the Presidium, which took place on 21 November 11.
- Information about the upcoming XC season (Michal Talavašek)
The newly elected team leader (TL) of the XC national team introduced SK with his vision for the upcoming season.
First, SK introduced how it will deal with FAI licenses.
He then gave information on how he plans to manage the money that was promised to him for the preparation of the "future" team for the World Cup in Brazil.
He also described the progress of the weekend training camp in the Krkonoše mountains and at the same time SK introduced the results of the questionnaires of the individual representatives regarding the plans for the following season.
The topic of organization and nominations for the WC in Brazil was also discussed.
The subject of representational property was also opened. SK and TL discussed how to approach assigned property that is not actively used by the representative.
It was agreed that TL will carry out an inventory of the representative property in order to identify the truly unused property and then check/suggest how to deal with such property.
- The course of tenders
An offer from Kamil Kabát (BLK) for the race came to the selection procedure (VŘ) for the MČR in H&F Moravian Challenge, which was approved.
SK received an offer to host MČR in XC from Michal Gierlach (POL) for the race in Pieve d'Alpago. For now, this is the only offer, the VŘ for this type of race ends on 30 November 11.
Offer to host the XC/ACC League, reps. The MČR in the ACC has not yet received the SK, however, the deadline for submission is 7/1/2025.
- Change in the rules of the Team category in the Czech Paragliding Cup
On 14 October 10, SK received a proposal to change the rules in the team category. Since the proposal was sent just before the end of the regular period of the previous SK and at the same time after the beginning of the ČPP year 2024, it was agreed that the decision on possible implementation by the year 2025 will be made by the new SK.
Jiří Hanč introduced the new members to the proposal, which was subsequently discussed. The change has the support of the SK and was unanimously approved. Its application will be made for the year starting on October 1, 10. In the near future, the change will be introduced on the available communication channels.
- Table of Czech records
SK discussed the registration of records of Czech pilots. In the coming months, SK will work on the form of rules for this record and find out how the given "records" can be searched and validated.
- Sports Rules (SŘ) H&F
A specific SK member was commissioned to compare the PG Association's H&F Code with the newly created FAI H&F Code (Sporting Code S7 L).
- Sports Order XC
A specific SK member was commissioned to edit the SŘ XC of the PG Association according to the FAI Sporting Code S7 A and thereby avoid duplication of information, or to ensure that the information in the SŘ XC is not outdated. It is expected that the SØ XC will only refer to the S7 A at many points, or the points will be removed entirely.
The reason for such a radical change in the SŘ is primarily the fact that in recent years only FAI2 races have been organized, which are primarily controlled according to S7 A.
- Annual report on the results of the national team
After the discussion, SK started working on the Annual Report on the results of the state representation for the year 2024 for the needs of the NSA subsidy and publication in the Pilot magazine.
