It's winter here, plenty of time until the start of the sharp season, and I'm using this way to ask for your cooperation. And I am not only referring to the pilots in the national team or to the competitors. I'm also interested in you, who fly for pleasure and like to save your experiences "for later", either in photos, videos or in your head as an experience and a memory. In addition, as the Union PG, we learned last week that the LAA, under which we fall, unfortunately fell in the so-called prioritizing sports to the lowest mentioned place. However, we can still go down to places that are not even mentioned anymore. As a result, our subsidies will decrease and there will be less money for everything, not only for sports, but also, for example, on Starters.

The National Sports Agency (NSA) puts quite a lot of emphasis on the presentation of athletes. Likewise, other pilots and paragliding fans are very happy for the varied information and love to read about what is happening in our sport.

However, without cooperation with the pilots, media coverage is very difficult, and it must be taken into account that it is the pilots who will subsequently profit from the media coverage. To the seven of you who added mentions of the PG Association to your posts, I sincerely thank you and I sincerely hope that you will not let up in your commitment 😊.

I'm not asking for a lot of involvement, I'm just asking that you give some of your time to the community by doing one of the following:

1. You will be at any PG races XC or ACC, acro or HF
2. You will fly free
3. You will think about the technical condition of the equipment or a problem related to PG

I will be very happy for:

• A photo
• Voicemail
• A few commenting sentences (race, flight, day, starter, wing....)
• Video or reel or link to youtube
• Reportage (not only from the races, but also from a stay in an interesting place, from traveling with a wing, from an expedition....)
• Equipment review, starter kit, etc.

Everything can be sent either to the SvazPG messenger or to the IG Svaz PG message, or to an email. hadasova.klara(zavinac)gmail.com.

Even if all of the above is beyond your power, I will be very happy if you mention the Union PG in a post that you yourself publish on your profile. This mention will take you a few seconds and can have unfathomable consequences in the positive sense of the word.

I don't offer much – a mention on the other hand, a possible move of our sport higher in the NSA's prioritization, more progressive reach of your account….

Building our social base is a very lengthy process with an uncertain end, however, without you, your tidbits and input from your PG life, only a few individuals will get repeated mentions on social media. The next time you post your PG-themed content on Instagram or Facebook, please remember the Association's profile and at least consider adding a mention to your post.

To make it clear to you how sharing is related, I am attaching the posts with the highest reach from April this year.

Posts have the highest reach on fb, which someone shares! The posts with the highest reach also had the highest number of shares, as the number of shares decreases, so does the reach.

Posts with the highest reach on IG which are marked with a like a by reloading the post - whoever looks at the post twice, it means in the IG algorithm that it was probably something interesting and IG will recommend it to more people, so there will be a higher reach. But again, the primary important thing is to spread the post, i.e. like or share the post notification in your own story (see instructions below)

Instructions for sharing

Instagram post

• If you want the post to be shared with the union in COLLABORATION, which means that it will appear both on your wall and on the wall of the union and you will share every like of the post together, you need to create the post on your phone.

1. You upload photos
2. On the next page, you write a post and under the post select - TAG PEOPLE
3. Next, click on INVITE COLLABORATORS (This function will not appear when creating a post on a PC)
4. Search for and click SVAZ PG
5. Then you add ANOTHER and the post will be published on your wall. The PG guild will get a message that someone is sharing a post with them, approve the message, and you'll both have the post on your wall. The name of both will then appear in the header of the post - i.e. the Union PG and XXYY

• I only want to help the Union and I will share his post with me into the story (again only possible on the phone) – I will have a photo of me in the story on IG, which, when clicked, will offer the reader to open the association's post.

1. I click on the share icon below the union post
2. I'll choose - Share in story
3. I will edit the photo in my story and post.

• I want to share my story with the union

1. I will either insert a visible mention of the Union PG into the story directly during its creation, or
2. In retrospect, I change my mind that I would like to mark the association so that it can take over the story (can only be done on the phone) - just click on the three dots in the lower right corner of the display and select - add mentions. I select the PG Guild, click away and the guild can now reshare this story on their profile. Anyone who clicks on it will see the original creator of the story and will be able to access their profile.

Facebook

Everything is much simpler on FB. Just click a button everywhere SHARE and re-share the union article on my profile, which will greatly increase the reach of the post.

If I want my post to reach the association, all I have to do is mark the PG Association anywhere in my post that I post on my wall. I will do this by writing @Svaz paraglidingu LAA ČR – official profile  The association will be notified and can take over the contribution.

Thank you for your future activity, even if it only means occasional mentions of the PG Guild in your story. Believe me, even this small activity will make life much easier for the network administrators of the Association.
