I was convinced that I would not need a backup, but now that circumstances forced me to quickly change my mind (and the sight of the double twist in the cords is quite convincing in this, I did not know how and hesitated. If I had realized all this a few days ago, I could drinking beer now and getting ready for tomorrow's flight. I'm having breakfast instead and getting ready for tomorrow's x-ray!"
