In the period from 08 August 24 0000 UTC to 04 September 24 2359 UTC, the Kbely Military Airport (LKKB) will be closed due to the repair of the energy of the air traffic services station.
During this period, the MAPP Kbely and MTWR Kbely stations will also be temporarily out of service. In this period, the MTMA Kbely and MCTR Kbely cease to exist and the airspace class changes to "G" and "E" and ATZ Letňany is temporarily established (see also VFR SUP 13/24 – AD LKLT).
The biggest operational change is the SOUTHERN CIRCUIT, due to the internal affairs of the company Řízení letového trápú sp in CTR Praha Ruzyně with the activation of the TRAGA 1N area. Therefore, the TRAGA1N space located in the CTR LKPR cannot be activated and all traffic goes through the base of the Kbely airport, outside the stopped areas of Satalic and Kbel.
The arrangement of air traffic during the deactivation of the LKKB is chosen so that, apart from the directions of the flight circuit, it has as little impact as possible on the pilots' habits experienced over the years.
- Maximum altitude in ATZ 2000ft AMSL, unless otherwise authorized on the Letňany Radio frequency upon request
- The points MIKE, LIMA, UNIFORM, ROMEO, BOREK and Kostelec will remain and due to the organization of air traffic, it is still necessary to use these points
- The minimum horizontal flight height in ATZ LKLT is 1700ft AMSL
- QNH LKPR
- Out-of-hours flights are still subject to an Airport Operator's Permit (PPR), unless otherwise contractually agreed
- Outside of operating hours (0700-1700utc) in ATZ LKLT it is necessary to broadcast on the frequency "LETŇANY RADIO, 120,335", ATZ is an RMZ zone
- It is strictly forbidden to fly over Kbely and Satalice
- It is strictly prohibited to fly over the LKKB base below 1700ft AMSL
- It is strictly forbidden to enter the LKR9 area without the permission of the ATS station (LKLT RADIO is not an ATS station)
