Year-round flying at Zlatník

Starts are possible all year round, with the exception of AOPK (Nature Protection Agency)! This is a big news for non-locals, and Zlatník opens up again to all pilots, because it is the only starting point in the SW direction in the vicinity, intended for legal take-off with PK or ZK.

Nesting bird conservation area!

For the operation, a not entirely welcome but necessary innovation is (in contrast to the age-old custom) the turning of the protection area for nesting birds, which, during the protection period, also extends into the "gable" to the right of the take-off, which is widely used for flying.

In the period February–June, the ban on "operating PG and ZK" (takeoffs and landings) remains valid in the area marked in red on the map. The flight space over the area cannot be adjusted by AOPK decision, but there is an agreement that no flights will be made into the area. The time limit for flying from 9 a.m. to 18 p.m. has been added again. This is a current restriction, for which great efforts will be made to loosen it at the next opportunity, i.e. in 2 years.

Zlatník belongs to ATZ Most, and planned traffic on the hill must be reported to the airport in advance. Best before the hike. However, in general there is usually no problem with flight permits and we have good relations with the airport.
