We have known for a long time that the Motor Paragliding Festival will be held in Přibyslav this year as well. However, the decision to participate in this event with the LAA ČR stand was made only on the basis of an invitation from the main organizer of this event, Milan Klement. When the current chairman of the MUnion PG, Richard Kaňok, also supported everything in the subsequent interview, it was basically decided. We're going. Now it's just a matter of what to take with you and in which line-up we will represent the LAA CR at the event. Honestly, I was very happy with Broňa Haničáková, who took on the role of coordinator of our participation and during the event itself ensured that visitors to the LAA ČR tent received all the information about our activities. One of the main conditions for the successful organization of such a large aviation event is the weather order. This time I have to praise the organizers for the exemplary performance of this task, because despite the fact that when I picked up Broňka in Prague, it was raining steadily, the weather continued to improve during the journey and by 9:00, when we arrived at the festival, there were already flight conditions. Thanks to God, the weather didn't change until late at night, actually thanks to the "organizer's order of the weather".
The festival was opened by its main organizer Milan Klement and he gave me the floor to welcome all exhibitors and visitors on behalf of LAA ČR. After that
a pre-arranged program was launched, which included, for example, a specialist seminar led by MPK's chief inspector of operation and technology Miroslav Huml, a sporting and photographically interesting mass parachute drop, breathtaking flight demonstrations not only by members of the MPG representative team, demonstrations and presentations by paramotor manufacturers, etc.
Stands of manufacturers and sellers of motorized paragliding equipment created a natural barrier from the airport area for incoming visitors. The technology that was offered in the stands represented the most modern that is available to pilots in this area today. An aviation school was also presented on the spot, which made it possible to enroll incoming visitors in the newly announced motor paragliding course being prepared at the same place - in Přibyslav. It will take place from July 22 to 28, 2024, and it is still possible to register for it. Commenting on the entire event was undertaken by Tomáš Berka, who accompanied current events with his specific humor. The end of the event was the Pyro Air Show by the well-known Polish paramotor pilot Paweł "Lojak" Kozarzewski, which literally amazed the visitors present. However, the event did not end there - the band NA3KUSY took over the entertainment reins of the already started party, and the entertainment and dance creations of the attendees lasted long into the night. Perhaps only thanks to the sufficient distance of the airport from the sleeping city, we did not violate the night's peace. Perfectly prepared facilities from Aeroklub Přibyslav and above all perfect service of drinks and various goodies, which was taken care of by the Fire Brigade from Nové Dvory, contributed to the well-being of the whole event. Honestly, I haven't experienced such helpful and kind service, which lasted to provide services so late into the night. I think that the event was really successful and that all the exhibitors whose logos accompany this article were really satisfied with the event. Such a positive presentation of aviation is very important, and all the organizers who participated in the successful festival deserve a big thank you.
