LA 1rd round of the Petr Tuček Navigation Cup was scheduled for the first weekend of June (June 2 and 6), included in the results of the MČR. Along with the competition, the weekend was a focus for the National Team and members of the Young Talent Program who, with the support of the Amateur Aviation Association and the National Sports Agency, are preparing for the UL Flying World Championships in Deenthrope, England. Unfortunately, Saturday's unfavorable weather did not allow more than training of the accuracy of the representatives' landing in gloomy weather, and the main competition had to be postponed to Sunday. However, the training certainly paid off for the representatives.
On Sunday, the weather improved, which was anxiously awaited by the organizers and the earlier competitors, and the competition crews were released onto the track. At least the track for the sports category was very interesting due to the absence of straight sections and the number of secret goals and tricky photos of the Polaba flora. Finally, I thank the organizers for the enthusiasm with which they took up the challenge of organizing the competition and concentrating in such conditions. Apart from Saturday's weather, there was nothing to complain about the competition. Blue skies to all readers and we look forward to seeing you at the next editions in Nymburk!
