LAA ČR participated as a partner in LA 1st year of the expert forum on drones DRONECON2024.
In one place in the CIIRC building of CTU in Prague, top representatives of state administration bodies, manufacturers of unmanned aviation technology, science, research, and state security forces gathered.
The panel discussion took place in four blocks. The first was devoted to strategy, the other was focused on business issues. After this block, the topic of safety was discussed and the conclusion of the event belonged to the future of flying with unmanned vehicles in the Czech Republic.
The seats at the event were filled and questions came from the audience, which were answered by the invited guests. One of the heavily discussed topics was the need to find a suitable place in the Czech Republic to build a test polygon. Another request that was repeatedly voiced was the possibility of using these devices even without the direct supervision of the operator.
The event was very beneficial especially in the area of information exchange, but also in expressing the support of state institutions in the area of development of these technologies in the Czech Republic.
LAA ČR was represented at this event by the president of LAA ČR Alešem Trtilem, who as a panelist was part of the discussion on security issues. It is precisely the danger of worsening the safety of SFD operation due to the entry of unmanned vehicles into the airspace of the Czech Republic that is a fundamental topic for the LAA of the Czech Republic.
