Flora Cup 2024

The Flory Cup satellite race takes place at the same venue a week before the prestigious Montegrappa Trophy, and this year it has become a very well-attended race, open to 130 pilots. The organizers offered priority entry to young pilots and women through 25 + 25 wild cards. Thanks to this option, the top 25 juniors and women in the WPRS ranking entered the starting list, eliminating many of LA 380 registered pilots from participating.

Riders

The Czech representatives looked at the start in Rubbio - Brombe, the village of Conco - Luisiana Petr Kostrhun, Ondřej Pohorelský, Oldřich Brož, Petr Kožíšek, Martin Kubíček, Karel Kůta. They arrived from the extended representation P@!k, Michal Talavašek, Vít Šantrůček and Kvido Hadaš, who are also juniors. They subsequently added more juniors Hugo Hadas a Monika Filipová. The already mentioned Ondřej Pohořelský also enjoyed his last months of his international junior career.

Interesting moments for the Czech expedition

  • Petr Kostrhun he wins LA 2nd task and in the overall order of the race he is placed in a wonderful 3rd place.
  • Michal Talavašek comes close to 2nd in the last task.
  • Hugo Hadaš is announced as the youngest participant in the competition and at his 1st international competition, he fought his way to 27th place overall.
