Airspace restrictions in connection with the AIR DEFENDER 2023 military exercise

From Monday, June 12, in the following two weeks, the AIR DEFENDER 2023 military exercise will take place, which will bring relatively extensive restrictions in the airspace of the Czech Republic. Their scope was issued to the ÚCL by means of a general provision that is available here and we reported on it in the Pilot magazine Bulletin. The restrictions associated with this will significantly affect furriers in particular. Unfortunately, despite the agreements with the AČR, the exercise was awkwardly planned practically in the middle of the sailing season. Therefore, before the flight, monitor the AUP/UUP, preferably in AisView, and during the flight, inform the ATS services about the current activation of the areas by radio.
