Best sports flyer 2022

Jiří is the best sports pilot of the Czech Republic for the year 2022 Krajča – world champion in ultralight flying. On Friday, February 20, 24, at LA 2023th year of the Air Sportsman of the Czech Republic event at the Metoděj Vlach Aviation Museum in Mladá Boleslav, the organization that brings together air sports and other best athletes in individual air sports was announced.
LA 20th edition of the Best Air Sportsman event was organized by the Light Aircraft Association of the Czech Republic, the Modelers' Union of the Czech Republic, the Sailing Oldtimer Club and the Aviation Journalists Club. The event was sponsored by the Parliamentary Subcommittee for Aviation and Cosmonautics and the National Sports Agency.

Ultralight flying

The most important event of LA 2022 season for ultralight pilots was LA 17th FAI World Championship held in the Czech Republic. The Czechs won the team gold, Jiří became the world champions Krajča in the category of single-seater aircraft and Petr and Roman Chvojko in the category of two-seater motorized hang gliders.
Jiří Krajča was declared the best air athlete in the category of ultralight flying in Mladá Boleslav. Second in this category were Petr and Roman Chvojko and third were Filip Vita and Tomáš Procházka.

Paragliding

Czech paragliders brought back surprising silver medals from LA 2022 European Cross Country Paragliding Championship from Serbia. The representatives in paragliding landing accuracy were also in second place at the European Championship in Romania. Vlastimil also won in the individual evaluation Vachtl bronze in absolute order. Among the women, Markéta Tomášková was in second place, as was Kvido Hadaš among the juniors.
Vlastimil became the best paraglider of the Czech Republic for the year 2022 Vachtl. Markéta Tomášková finished second and third Jonáš Pilot burner.

Hang gliding

The highlight of LA 2022 season for the hang-gliding representatives was LA 21st European Championship, which took place in mid-July in Italy. Czech rogalists won bronze medals in teams, two Czechs - Dan Vyhnalík and Petr Polách.
Petr became the aerial athlete in the hang-gliding category for 2022 Polách. Second was Lukáš Vojáček and third was Dan Vyhnalík.

Motorovy paragliding

Motorized paragliders competed in LA 2022 World Championships in classic disciplines in Brazil and in the World Slalom Championships, which were flown over the Nové Mlýny dam reservoir in South Moravia. In Brazil, the Czechs won the team bronze. At the World Slalom Championship, the Czech team was also third, Milan Klement won bronze in the individual evaluation.
Luboš Halama became the best motorized paraglider for 2022. Second place went to Milan Klement and third to Roman Tomíček.

Aircraft modellers

The aircraft modelers' club of the Modelers' Union of the Czech Republic honored last year's world champions Tomáš Ciniburek, Ivo Bratršovský and also the European champion Tereza Vosejpková in Mladá Boleslav. The best junior modeler is Martin Popovský.

Another award air sportsmen

The best juniors of the Aviation Amateur Association are Kvido Hadaš, Matouš Adam and Jonáš Pilot burner. Milan Svoboda became the best pilot of historical gliders.

Air sportsman of the year 2022

Jiří became the absolute best aerial athlete of the Czech Republic for the year 2022 Krajča – world champion in ultralight flying.
"I won everything I could last year. The World Championship, the National Championship and the domestic series of the Navigation Cup. I have been doing well on the international stage for a long time - in the last four years I have two European champion titles and two world champion titles,” commented Jiří after winning the title of Air Athlete of the Czech Republic Krajča, a member of the Sports Talented Youth Program of the LAA CR.
