A training course intended for rogal pilots, with the aim of developing the ability to fly overflights.

At theoretical lessons learn more about thermal forecasting, mountain specifics, weather forecasting, differences and details of individual forecasting models. Of course I will try to answer your direct questions about flying.
Practical lessons they will be focused on overflights. If the conditions are not suitable for thermal flying, we will use the free time to train take-off and landing techniques and increase the number of theoretical hours.
Date: 21.8-24.8. (it follows on from the Kobala Open, Sunday is a substitute day for the competition, if it is used you will fly a separate task and in the afternoon there will be a theoretical part)
Where? The expected location will be Kobala, Lijak, Kowk. Alternatively, we will cross depending on the weather (it will be specified on Wednesday evening 18.8). You can pre-book places at the Gabrje campsite, where the meeting should be on Saturday morning.

How much does it cost? The training is organized in cooperation with the ZL Association. You do not pay anything for the work of the instructor and driver.
The association can provide a contribution for flight fees, exports, etc. - we will agree according to the budget and the number of participants. But don't count on these finances just yet - I'll see what I can negotiate for you.
Pickups? We will have a driver, but we probably won't go up the hill with one car, so we have to solve the exits on our own, and then with the help of the driver, we will get to the cars and pull them down the hill.
Conditions of participation:
- Valid ZL pilot's license, insurance and technical inspection of the hang glider
- Membership in LAA and ZL Association
- Fulfillment current Covid conditions
- Transmitter "2 meter" at least for listening
- The ability to safely take off, land in unfamiliar terrain
