Task 1 75 km
Planned 75 km, from Laragne. 12 zavodnik entered the stabbing. We started north. The conditions were not easy, the south fought, the north and the west and occasional certificates. Unfortunately, we only had one gate, so only a couple of lucky pilots set out on time. In cell according to time: Jindra Kral, Jirka Gut, Petr Polach, Jaroslav Trestik.
Role 2 72 km from Laragne
From 11 we waited in vain for the clouds to estimate how to set the course. The forecast is for heavy winds in the afternoon, so we are being conservative. The task committee, composed of Dan, Robert and Jarda, chooses a smaller task, 20 km to the NW behind Laragne and then to the east through the entire valley. The descent will be against the wind, 15 km to the campsite. Today we have two jets, the first 1415. Many of us take it and fly under the convergent advice on the first OB. The weather looks better than it seemed and that's how it is. Dan succeeds in looking for good lines and wins the task with the last strong climb and overview. I flew second with a large margin of height and I'm still getting up and flying around the Chabr. Almost all of us are in Cila today, only 2 pilots did not make it. The conditions at the start were good, caught a bit blown.
Role 3 km after all?
The sky is almost cloudless again, it starts to rain later. In the west, a convergent line is made, as in the last few days, in the direction of the north. The first OB we fly to the west along the ridge, just behind the saddle. Then to the circular mountain, then to the end of the hockey stick and to the goal of Laragne camp via Madarská hora. It's a well-chosen task that scales in difficulty. Dan and I fly very far ahead, but we struggle a lot towards Madarska hora and arrive at the height of the antenna. It is not up to the ski and we need to rise to at least 1800m. We climb for a long time and rise in vain. Meanwhile, Vlastik sneaks up high above our heads and flies to the finish line. The win!! Dan has a bit of luck on the interval and gets up. I fight for more than 20 minutes and finally the winds of the Hungarian mountains gave me a climb with which I fly to the finish line. Dan 2. Me 3. Task 4
A front passed north of us, which although brought gradually strengthening NW, SW winds, but also brought good instability, beautiful ranges and accesses of almost 2700m. The task was a short zigzag on the Laragne ridge and then a valley flight to Gache, Tallard airfield and over the Madarská mountain to the campsite. The slide was tough today! We had a big reserve, but for a large part of the end they flew only 1:4.5!! Everyone arrived at the finish line nervous and low, around 100m. Vlastík Bartas even had to turn 2km before the finish line and slid right into the roundabout. Today, Čejen did not break two trapeze bars and Mitja turned his first OB on the track :). A total of 9 people at the finish line! We flew a total of 4 tasks and in 1930 closed this year's MČR with an announcement led by the race director Karolína.
