Initial information about the MZK air accident of 30 July 7, Vysoké near Žďár nad Sázavou

On the morning of Tuesday, July 31, a motor hang glider crashed near the village of Vysoké near Žďár nad Sázavou. According to the current state of information, the MZK pilot crashed into a tree by the road while taking off from a meadow between forests against a rising terrain. The MZK was destroyed, the pilot suffered injuries from which he died after being transported to the hospital.
The plane accident is being investigated by the ÚZPLN commission in cooperation with the inspectors of the Czech Air Force.
The course and causes of the accident are under investigation, but what can be said with certainty now is that the pilot did not meet the legal requirements for flight. He did not have a valid pilot's or technical license, as well as legal insurance. And irresponsibility in this direction is usually accompanied by careless preparation and evaluation of the conditions for one's own flight.
Be that as it may, please, even in the hot summer, think like aviators who want to return home safely after a joyful experience, and not like irresponsible slackers.

Inspector of operation and technology MZK
