Record flying weekend 26-27.5

After a longer period of waiting for suitable conditions for flying. On Saturday, May 26, several pilots went on overflights, mostly from Hradčany and Montenegro. Petr Beneš, the current world champion in hang gliding took advantage of the good conditions and thus recorded the longest return flight in the Czech Republic in length 256 km.

Another interesting sporting performance was the return flight Petra Polácha (226 km), the FAI triangle of the long-range thermal sky matador Dan Vyhnalík with a length of 175 km from Hradčany and an equally long flight Homeland of Bartas from Černá hora – 175 km, also FAI triangle.

On Sunday 27.5. managed to fly several FAI triangles slightly above 100km. The longest flight was Petr Čejka namely the return to the Černá hora – Jablonné line in Podještědí along its length 183 km.

 Congratulations!
