Competition flying course 2018 led by Dan Vyhnalík

Theoretical preparation and practical training will be led by a long-time representative Dan Vyhnalík. Those interested with a pilot's license under the age of eight can apply until the end of March.
In case of non-flying weather forecast, the course will be postponed for a week.

Theoretical teaching includes finding thermals, optimizing FAI triangles, working with the xctrack program, ČPP rules, MČR propositions and working with aircraft instruments.  Practical training focuses on reaching the turning point, gliding to the destination and landing in unknown terrain.

In thermal weather, also waiting for a time gate and completing a short task. The sporting benefit of the course for ZL will be the training of young prospective pilots to obtain an FAI license and start their competitive career at the beginning of the thermal season.

The course will take place if you register by the end of March dan.vyhnalik@svt.cz at least four applicants. The maximum number of course participants is eight. They must have a PP less than eight years old, be members of the ZL union and ZK must come to the course with a valid TP and legal insurance.

The course will take place at the airport in Hradčany on the weekend of April 7 and 8, 2018. Only in the event of a hopeless weather forecast will the course be postponed for a week.
