Description of the course of LN:
After about 50% of the leading edge, the wing went into rotation and after 1 and ¾ revolutions from the direction of flight, hit the rock head-on in a swing. Another uncontrolled fall about 50 meters down the rock wall caused the canopy to be destroyed and its cords to get tangled around pilot and female passenger.
It was difficult to reach the impact site after the inaccessible rock wall. First aid was provided approximately 20 minutes after the event by PG pilots who landed near the accident. The pilot and the passenger suffered multiple non-life-threatening injuries. The wing could not be secured, it was destroyed and cut up.
Police in Kenya are investigating the accident.
