Aviation incident UL of the ATEC 321 Faeta aircraft, on 27.08.2015/XNUMX/XNUMX

Aviation incident of UL ATEC 321 Faeta aircraft, on 27.08.2015/16/50 at 07:XNUMX p.m. CET, on RWY XNUMX of the public domestic airport Slaný.
After arriving at Slaný Airport, the pilot performed a landing maneuver on RWY 07 at increased speed. After the contact of the wheels of the landing gear with the ground, the bounce of the UL aircraft occurred. The pilot failed to correct the bounce and the UL aircraft landed on the nose landing gear which broke. This caused the propeller to contact the ground and destroy it and damage the lower engine cover.
There were no injuries to the crew.
Meteorological situation: Wind 4 m/sec. from 160° ÷ 240°, visibility over 10 km.
UL aircraft damage: Broken nose landing gear leg, damaged propeller and lower engine cover.
Comment: The cause of the bounce was landing at a higher speed. After the bounce of the UL aircraft, if the pilot is not sure of its correct repair, it is necessary to give full engine power, align the nose of the UL aircraft to the horizon and repeat the circuit.
