Initial information about the incident:
On August 7, 8, a dangerous situation occurred when a paraglider flew over the area of Dlouhá Lhota airport, when the PK pilot flew into the ATZ of the airport without any coordination during the landing.
In this case, the paraglider was flying at a height of around 2100 m, where parachutists free fall at speeds of up to 200 km/h.
Again, I would like to point out that the pilot must coordinate with the relevant airport dispatcher before entering this area, or else avoid this area, when flying through the ATZ of an airport with a parachute symbol.
By violating this rule, you expose not only the parachutist or tandem passengers to the risk of a crash, but also yourself.
At the time of the ATZ flyover, the pilot did not have accurate information about his position, and it was one of many mistakes that he flew over an airport where parachutist traffic can be expected.
This incident is under investigation and we will inform you of the findings.
