On April 14.4.2013, XNUMX, in the afternoon, the MZK pilot flew in the vicinity of the village of Valeč. After a low flight over his house in this village, the machine fell on the paved area next to the church. The pilot suffered fatal injuries, the machine was destroyed in the fall. The accident is being investigated by a commission of inspectors from ÚZPLN and LAA.
The season is starting, Sunday was practically the first beautiful flying day, and many pilots certainly used it to fly. But the rules about safe flying apply doubly during the first spring years. We need to fly out and re-invigorate pilot habits, we also need to properly inspect and prepare our machines so that they do not prepare us some unwelcome surprises. By jumping into a machine and crashing near my home, I will harm not only myself, but also my loved ones, and the shadow of such events unfortunately also falls on our entire flying and it will not add positive points to us in the eyes of the public. Please keep this in mind when you are about to take off.
