The Sports Commission is issuing a tender to ensure the organization of the following competitions:
- CR Championship 2013 in cross country
- Competitions of LA 2013 Czech League series in cross country
- 2013 CR Championship in landing accuracy

Requirements for organizers of all races
- The organizer and the course of the competition must follow the valid sports regulations of the PG association. In the case of organizing a race with non-standard rules (e.g. AAT), the organizer must, in accordance with point 13 of the sports regulations, have the local rules approved by the sports commission well in advance. Information on deviations from the SŘ must be part of the application to the SŘ.
- The organizer must advertise free of charge among the race sponsors LAA ČR and the Paragliding Association
- It may be possible to draw state subsidies for the organization of some races. If the organizer is interested in receiving a state subsidy for his race, the offer must contain a breakdown of the amount of the entry fee and the services provided, depending on the allocated amount of funds. You can find more information about state subsidies for sports at the end of the article. The organizer must be able to organize the race even if it is not possible to draw state subsidies.
- If the organizer requests any financial or material support from the Paragliding Association in connection with the organization of the race, then must be part of the tender application exact specification of the requirements and conditions under which he will apply for support.
Requirements for the organizer of the MČR cross country
- The race must last at least 6 flight days + 1 spare day in case of not flying 3 valid rounds
- The race must be classified as FAI2
- Fees for the take-off area, landing areas, exports to the take-off and collection from the track must be included in the take-off fee
- The race must be on a fixed date
Requirements for the organizer of the Czech League race
- Multiple date variants may be announced for the race
Desired offer structure
- Name of organizer or association of organizers
- Draft race date
- Description of flight terrain
- Amount of entry fee and description of services provided to competitors
- Description and location of accommodation options with at least an indicative price for accommodation
- Overview of references from the organization of the PG race
Method of evaluation of received offers
The competition will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Suitability of flight terrain and date for races
- The price for the entry fee including VAT, taking into account the length and place of the race and the services provided to the competitors
- The amount and conditions of the requested subsidy from the Union
- Suitability of the date (demand for vacation, etc.)
- Classification of the race in FAI category 2
- Price for accommodation of pilots and escort.
- Price for other accompanying services.
- The organizer's experience with the organization of the PG race.
State subsidies
- This year, the Union PG submitted an application for a subsidy to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports for the organization of the Czech League. A similar (less modest) request was made for 2012 and was rejected. If the Association receives this subsidy in 2013, race organizers will be able to draw money in the amount and according to the rules determined by the grant (travel allowances, remuneration for the organizer, rent for headquarters/camping, start fees, production of trophies, etc.). Full text grant applications can be found here. The LAA CR will probably learn about the amount of allocated funds or the rejection of the grant by the end of April 2013.
- The LAA and, by extension, the Union PG received a state subsidy for general sports activities this year. It is possible that he will receive similar funds next year as well, and it is possible that they will also be drawn on the plants that are the subject of this VŘ. If the conditions of the subsidy are the same as in 2012, then they should be usable for supporting the organization of the Czech League and the MČR in accuracy. The cross country national championship cannot be supported under these conditions, as it is an international race.
