The Board of Directors and the Sports Commission discussed possible security measures at the MČR Paragliding Championships, which will take place on August 7-13.8.2011, XNUMX in Sopot, Bulgaria.
- The organizer will convene a safety briefing before the first competition flight, where the pilots will be introduced to the flight terrain and will be trained on the rules of flying.
- The organizer will provide the pilots with a run report with a safety form for the evaluation of the safety situation during the flight when checking out from the competition flight.
- Every pilot has the opportunity to comment on the safety situation on the radio's safety frequency.
- The pilot is obliged to mark his parachute with a competition number. The organizer will provide the material for pasting the numbers.
- SK voted for the possibility of using AAT tasks for MČR 2011. Jakub Havel and Petr Chromec will check the technical possibilities of implementation.
- The organizer will ensure the publication of a list of turning points and a map of the flight area with marked dangerous areas.
- We recommend the organizer to end the speed section of the competition flight at a safe distance before the finish line.
- The organizer reserves the right to check the parachute of competitors in the serial class if unauthorized modifications are suspected.
The Board and the Sports Commission discussed the position on the events at the Piedrahita World Championship and the subsequent suspension of competition class gliders from FAI.1 category races
The Sports Commission stated that according to the current wording of the valid sports regulations, it is not possible to declare the Champion of the Czech Republic in the series class (EN-D and lower). The sports regulations will be modified before the start of the MČR so that the Champion of the Czech Republic in the series class can be announced. The holder of the title of Master of the Czech Republic in the series class may only use his title in full, unabridged.
The Board of Directors approves the expenditure of CZK 60000 for the promotion of paragliding at LA 2011 World Championship in Precision Landing, which takes place in Kunčice pod Ondřejník from July 22 to 31. The contents of the delivery will be:
· Live results on the WC website
· Live video on the MS website
· Daily video overviews published on the MS website
· A summary DVD of the MS, which will be given to the participants and will be available to the PG Association for further use
· We have been promised a 15-minute program on CT about the World Cup
· We will participate in Good Morning on CT, we are discussing broadcasting Good Morning directly from the venue of the competition
· The media (audio, video, print) will inform about the progress and results
