Paragliders, help create a Pilot!

Paragliding friends. While reading the annual contents of our association magazine Pilot, I was a little surprised at the number of articles under the heading of paragliding published last year...
...and the news from the magazine's editors confirmed the current trend: "We currently have a shortage of articles on the subject of paragliding that we could present to readers." I don't want to fantasize about why this situation happened. Rather, I would like to address my challenge to you: "Pilot magazine is a medium that is intended for paragliders to communicate their knowledge, experiences and experiences and pass them on to others. Let's fill it in such a way that it is fun to read and publish in it!”
Do you have any interesting flying experiences in traditional or non-traditional places? Planning an interesting flight? Think you've figured out how to fly better? Any experience with any piece of PG gear, positive or negative? There is an interesting opportunity to tell others! Here in the republic, there is no one else who can write something about our sport but us! Of course. If you find an interesting article in a foreign language environment, either on the web or in a magazine, we can ask for permission to publish and translate and publish the article even for those who, for example, do not speak English that well.
Last but not least, these are professional articles. From some of the web articles and discussions, it can be deduced that there are a number of educated and highly qualified airmen among us who have something to say on the subject. It is clear to me that there will always be few professional articles. However, they are the salt on the bread of journalism and always attract well-deserved attention. Now. in the break between two seasons, when we take stock of the last season and prepare for the next one, I think it is the ideal time to sort out our thoughts, put them "on paper" and thus enrich ourselves and others.
Of course, news from the life of local clubs and schools and the events they have held are also a big topic for us. Finally, I would like to mention the space for the presentation of news in the field of "rustling hardware" which is also available in Pilot (and not only in the form of paid advertising). I think pilots want to know what new parachute, seat, or other equipment is on the market and what features and improvements it has over the previous version. In the form of a review, information can be provided in more detail than is usual in an advertisement such as "The new XY parachute is simply the best!" And so another space opens up here for information, the publication of which is interesting for pilots and not only for them.
Naturally, the editor-in-chief of the Pilot, Vojta Šaman, will best advise and help you with the stylistic editing and possible formatting of your contribution. )cz.

To support your writing efforts, we are announcing a contest for the best author's contribution of 2011. The author of the winning article will be rewarded with CZK 5000. Second and third place will be awarded CZK 3000 and CZK 1000.

In conclusion, I would like to say one motto: LAA is not some THEM. That's ALL OF US. And we will have what we are willing to do for ourselves.
Have a good flight!
