Minutes of SK Meeting 15.3. 2008

SK discussed the following topics:

  • Change of sports regulations at these points (suggested by Šnajberg):

The entry fee must include:

• fees for use of take-off and landing areas

• processing and announcement of results

• exporting competitors to the start if possible

• picking up competitors from the track

• according to the GPS recorded during registration, see point 7.

3.8. Maximum take-off weight

It is determined as the weight of the pilot, dressed in trousers, T-shirt and shoes, plus 33 kg. In the event that

the organizer proceeds to check the maximum take-off weight, is obliged to weigh the pilots during registration and

to provide pilots with the possibility of check transfer at the start.

7.2. GPS sectors

Competitions will take place based on the use of cylindrical sectors.

The radius will usually be 400 m.

Physical features on the ground will be considered as a guide only. They will form the turning points of the competition

points determined by the specified coordinates.

The target sector is usually a 400m long line perpendicular to the direction to the last turning point, the center of which

lies at the target point. It is also possible to use a cylindrical sector of any diameter.

10.1. Points in a single round

The GAP system is used for the MČR competition and league competitions. GAP parameters must be published before

at the start of the first task and may not be changed during the race

– these changes were voted unanimously.

  •  was discussed nomination criteria for individual representations in this form:
    • XC – according to ranking rules
    • accuracy - according to the team leader's choice
    • acro - a candidate must achieve at least 60% of the points of the winner of one PWCA event
  • simplification of the pilot license system. A proposal to cancel the C pilot license and leave only 2 licenses (amending the LA1 and PL3 regulations) was discussed. The sports commission agreed that canceling license C is expedient and therefore recommends keeping only licenses A, B (or renaming them to "PL pilot" and "PL sports pilot"). 

    In this context, he also recommends considering:

    – changing the condition of the length of holding license A to obtain license B (the current 6 months to 1 year)

    – inclusion of recommended pilot practice in the PL3 regulations (total raid, annual raid, type of flying) for individual PK categories according to CEN/LTF.
